Based on the song ‘I Drove All Night’ as sung by Roy Orbison, this comic focusses on the darker tones of the lyrics.
inspiration for this style was taken from the beautiful, animated music video Patrick McHale made for the song Zombie by C.W Stoneking.
shading was done with a mix of St John's wort powder (often used as a natural antidepressant) and cigarette ash. Mainly St John's wort powder, as cigarette ash mixed with water is really not as suitable for shading, as the wort powder is.
